Blue Peter is the longest-running children's television programme in the world - and one of its key architects was Biddy Baxter who worked as its editor for many years. Sadly, Biddy died last year and now James Lewis and Bamfords have been given the task of auctioning the contents of her London apartment. She and her late husband John Hosier, a well-known musician, collected many Chinese items during a spell in the Far East. Other antiques analysed here include a French bronze, a mahogany apothecary case and some amazing jewellery.
