Instead of selling off the family silver, this film is all about selling off the family antiques business. J. Collins and Son of Bideford in Devon, UK (not to be confused with firms of a similar name) recently closed down. And James Lewis was given the task of auctioning off many of the items left in stock, especially treen - small, handmade, functional household items which are usually turned and made of wood. They are due to be sold at Bamfords on Monday March 23rd and Tuesday March 24th.
This film also includes some highlights from a personal treen collection from a house in Surrey, UK, which will also be auctioned off soon.
