A statement about Covid-19 (Coronavirus)

17th March 2020

With the increase in the threat of Covid-19 (Coronavirus), Bamfords wish to assure you that our main priorities are the safety and well-being of our staff and customers.

Bamfords have already taken steps to combat what will be a huge challenge for us all and are carefully monitoring Government and World Health Organisation advice.

Bamfords Auction and Valuation salerooms will remain open for viewings and our auctions will continue, as usual.

Unfortunately all evening and weekend talks will be postponed until further notice.

Auctions

The auction world has changed dramatically in recent years and many of our clients will now be well acquainted with using the online facilities for viewing, condition report and bidding, which can be accessed by visiting

www.bamfords-auctions.co.uk and www.the-saleroom.com

Telephone bids are also available for every auction for lots of a higher value.

To enable extra flexibility on viewing days, our usual Tuesday views will be extended from a 1 p.m. start to 10 a.m.

Valuations

For those who wish to have an object valued, our online valuation service at Bamfords is available, we will still be holding our onsite valuation days, however should you wish to be seen without other clients we are happy to make a private appointment at either Derby or Rowsley

Whilst Covid-19 presents an enormous challenge, Bamfords will continue to offer a full service to all our clients.

If you need any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us by telephone or email.
