Musical Instruments

It is often the very specialist areas where the market is most buoyant, in particular the violin, cello, viola and double bass sections. It is not only the string sections breaking market records, the demand for clarinet, oboe and other wind is ever growing.

Many items causing the most interest are those no longer in mainstream production today. A George III serpent possibly played at the battle of Waterloo even after being glued together and patched with fibreglass recently sold for a substantial amount.
