Sean joined Bamfords in 2008 as a Saleroom Porter after working for Bamfords during his school work experience. In 2009 he became the head of Toy & Juvenalia department and during this time had the pleasure of cataloguing and handling The Late Don Hoggarth Dinky Toy Collection, a single owner collection of almost 1,000 items, the sale had a 100% successful sold rate and achieved over £60,000 when it went under the gavel.
In 2015 Sean parted ways with Bamfords to become a Car Valuer and Disposal Assistant in the Automotive industry but has since returned to Bamfords Auctioneers with a new ambition to re-develop and expand the popular Specialist Toy and Advertising auctions. Sean brings a wealth of knowledge and has had the honour of handling some of the finest Toys from many private collections. Sean's main interest in Toys and Advertising include early Steiff Teddy Bears, Fine Tinplate and Automata, Enamel Signs and Early Tins and Packaging.
Sean has become a regular face and voice on television and radio, featuring as an Auctioneer and Valuer on numerous episodes of the BBC's hit television show Bargain Hunt.
