If you wish to have your items valued for auction you can do it via the following

  • Visit either of our salesrooms, our team of valuers are available by appointment at our salerooms to assist in all areas, please call to make your appointment with one of our team.
  • Attend one of our free valuations which are held at various sites – view calendar to find out when and where.
  • Visit our Online Valuation section of our webpage and upload your images for valuation.
  • Email us at Derby or Bakewell along with images and we will give you a guide to value before seeing the item.
  • If you have large items which are difficult to bring down to the salerooms take some photos and either email them or bring them in to us.

There is no obligation to put them into an auction.

Do you charge for a valuation?

We do not charge for an auction valuation and there is no obligation to sell with us. We hope, however, that you choose to consign your art and antiques with Bamfords.

Insurance and Probate valuations do carry a fee. See our Probate & Valuations page for further details.

Do you offer a collection service?

Small items can usually be collected by our team during a valuation visit or at another arranged time. For larger items and collections, we can recommend a specialist carrier for you.
