2001 U.S.A., The World Trade Center, The Twin Towers, 9/11, a poignant hand written account of a visit to the World Trade Centre on 10th September 2001, with personal photographs of the burning buildings taken on the 11th and World Trade Center Tickets timed for the afternoon of the 10th, possible two of the last issued to visitors; other related ephemera and newspapers; the owners, a British couple, visited the Center on the afternoon of the 10th of September and returned for another visit the next day as world events unfolded around them that will be remembered forever; the hand written story recounts their treatment and their return to New York a year to the day to pay tribute to those who lost their lives, and to show to the people of New York that terrorists will not stop them

All professional fees on the above lot will be donated to the British Fire Fighters Charity in recognition of the great sacrifice made by fire fighters everywhere including those in New York City who paid such a price on September 11th 2001
